Retreat Programme
Enjoy two yoga classes per day in the fully air conditioned and equipped yoga studio at Wild View. Classes are tailored to suit most abilities; beginners & intermediate levels welcome.
Morning Yogalates
Yoga + Pilates = Yogalates! Our morning practice will be the dynamic, yet harmonious fusion of Hatha Yoga and Pilates, known as Solomon Yogalates™.
We’re lucky enough to have access to light weights, resistance bands and Pilates rings at Wild View Retreats (yay!), so this week-long retreat will have more of a strength-building focus than my prior retreats. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean fast and furious cardio! If you’re a beginner, you won’t be left behind.
Yogalates is always slow and steady, combining body-conditioning Pilates techniques with enlivening Hatha yoga practices to sculpt your body, build strength, enhance flexibility and boost those happy hormones. Active practices will be scheduled before breakfast, when it’s not too hot, plus all indoor spaces on retreat have air conditioning.
Afternoon Yin Yoga
These late afternoon lazy Yin sessions are one of the big highlights of my retreats! We’ll release physical tension and fatigue through a series of gentle, floor-based, passive yoga postures that will leave you feeling 100% blissed out.
I’ll also lead three Yoga Nidra meditations across the week, shifting your brain and body into a profoundly calming state, and down-regulating the nervous system.
These afternoon sessions are specifically designed to support you in letting go of stress and strain, helping you get the best sleep possible on retreat.

Day trip to Barril beach
Enjoy the refreshing ocean water, soft sand underfoot, and lunch at a beachside bar with our day trip to a gorgeous stretch of the Algarve coastline :)
Travel there and back, plus sun loungers and shade on the beach will be included in your retreat package. Lunch is not included, so this will be an extra cost. If skipping the day trip, a light lunch will be provided for you at the venue as usual.
Sauna
For one hour per day we’ll have access to a Finnish log cabin sauna on site at the venue for those who wish to use it! Time in a sauna can positively benefit cardiovascular health, brain function, immunity and detoxification.
Massages
Massage treatments are always a big hit on my retreats! A beautiful opportunity to slow down, release stress, and tune back in to your body. Our visiting licensed therapists bring a deeply restorative touch, helping you drop into full relaxation and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and completely renewed.
This is your time, so everything is optional on this retreat.
Food & Nourishment
Our brilliant Portuguese chefs, Carla and her partner, have been crafting vibrant, plant-based dishes for almost a decade, transforming simple, local ingredients and wild herbs into colourful, nourishing meals that burst with flavour. Blending modern plant-based cooking with a nod to their Portuguese roots, each meal they create has a touch of tradition, a lot of love, and that unmistakable taste of the Algarve sun.

Sweet potato kumpir with lentils, spiced hummus and cashew mozzarella, roasted red bell peppers, marinated courgette
Vietnamese Summer Rolls with tofu, carrot, lettuce, cucumber, pepper, coriander & mint with peanut sauce
“Punched” potatos (Portuguese boiled & roasted rosemary potatos) with shiitake mushroom skewers, white bean puree, hasselback courgette and hazelnut dukkah
Tiramisù with cashew based mascarpone & coconut-oat cream; raw cocoa
Your teacher
Hi I’m Beth, the founder of Yogalates London, and I’ll be leading all classes on this retreat.
I’ve been teaching since 2014 and have advanced teaching qualifications in Solomon Yogalates, Yin Yoga and Hatha Yoga. I have been running UK and international Yogalates & Yin retreats since 2017. I love helping people discover greater ease and freedom of movement in their bodies through Yogalates, as well as the profound mental and emotional shifts that come from regular practice.
I’m also a passionate believer in the transformative powers of yoga and meditation in these technology-focused, fast-paced times of ours.

If you’re travelling solo and feel nervous about sharing a room, you might be surprised about the close-kit friendships that can develop, and special memories made. Cohabiting can seem daunting, but there are plenty of peaceful, secluded spots in the grounds for the moments you need it.
