Welcome!

My name is Beth and I am London's leading specialist in the Solomon Yogalates Method.

Conceived in Byron Bay 30 years ago, this award-winning method intelligently combines two groundbreaking practices; Yoga and Pilates.

My students will tell you; I am passionate about helping people improve their strength, posture, breathing, fitness, mobility and overall health and confidence.

I believe that no matter your age, experience or fitness level, everyone can feel the benefits of regular practice.

Together we can stay motivated, active and connected in the community, and have a laugh too!

‘Stretch, Relax, Energise’

Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga & Breathwork

Wednesdays, 1-2pm

Step away from your desk and make space for yourself with Stretch, Relax, Energise – a 60-minute lunchtime yoga class designed to help you breathe, release tension and return to your afternoon feeling brighter, calmer and more energised. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities.

In just one hour, you’ll experience a soothing fusion of:

  • Yin Yoga – slow, passive postures that melt stress and ease deeply held tension in both body and mind

  • Hatha Yoga – heart-opening, grounding movement to improve circulation and revitalise

  • Breathwork – simple practices to calm the nervous system, clear the mind and invite ease

Discover how just 60 minutes on the mat can leave you lighter, more centred and ready to move through the rest of your day with ease.

By combining both Yin (stillness) and Yang (movement) styles, this practice nourishes the deeper layers of the body, supporting mobility and helping you reconnect on a physical, mental and emotional level. Release stress, settle the mind, and come home to yourself.

After class you can enjoy a post-practice cup of tea or coffee afterwards in our excellent adjoining Press Room coffee shop.

Winter Yogalates classes

Yoga + Pilates = Yogalates! Yogalates is slow and steady, combining body-conditioning Pilates techniques with enlivening Hatha yoga practices to sculpt your body, build strength, enhance flexibility and boost those happy hormones. We use resistance bands to challenge whole body stability, working from a connected and empowered core.

These classes are suitable for most abilities (students must be able to get up and down from the ground unassisted. If in doubt please email me here to check suitability).

A quiet, warm and welcoming space with equipment provided for you, plus there’s also a lovely cafe adjoining the studio which is perfect for your post-practice cuppa!

 
  • Long Ditton Yogalates

    Saturdays, 9.15-10.30am

    St Mary’s Church Hall, Church Rd (near Squire’s)

    No class 14th February

A peaceful haven surrounded by the tranquility of the churchyard, this is the ideal spot to take some time for yourself. Start the weekend feeling refreshed, toned, stretched and energised.

Street parking around the church is free.

 

Winter term Yogalates has now started but ‘drop ins’ are almost always possible.

Cost is £22 per 75 minute Yogalates class.

Need to knows…

  • Yogalates classes are well-paced with an alignment focus. Rest assured, you are in good hands!

  • Beginners are welcome, with modifications and alternatives offered where appropriate. If you suffer from pain or restrictions with your mobility please reach out to check if this class is suitable for you here, before signing up.

  • Wednesdays @ Alcheme - what you need: All equipment is provided by the studio for these classes, but if you’d like to bring your own props (e.g. your own mat or resistance band/Theraband) you can.

  • Saturdays @ St Mary’s - what you need: Students will need to provide their own yoga mat. I can provide a block and a band for you if you don’t have your own.

  • In the event of a class being cancelled for any reason, students will be offered a replacement class.

  • If you cannot make a session you’re welcome to send another person in your place.

  • Each class ends with a deliciously restorative savasana relaxation, calming the mind & relieving physical & mental stress. Bliss!
