Yogalates in Surbiton

Stretch, Strengthen, Breathe

Award-winning Yogalates classes to help you feel fit, healthy and connected to your community

Welcome!

My name is Beth and I am London's leading specialist in the Solomon Yogalates Method.

Conceived in Byron Bay 30 years ago, this award-winning method intelligently combines two groundbreaking practices; Yoga and Pilates.

My students will tell you; I am passionate about helping people improve their strength, posture, breathing, fitness, mobility and overall health and confidence.

I believe that no matter your age, experience or fitness level, everyone can feel the benefits of regular practice.

Together we can stay motivated, active and connected in the community, and have fun too!

I love Beth’s classes; my back ache is a distant memory and I’m a little bit taller than I was before I joined. I can’t say I find yoga easy, but Beth’s explanation of each pose and transition is very clear, informative and never rushed. I learn something new every week and I love it!

As an over 60’s novice I was initially sceptical... I was wrong. Beth’s patience and knowledge have helped me gain more flexibility, aligned my balance and eased joint pain. Above all, her sessions are so enjoyable and rewarding and I always leave walking on air feeling 10 years younger!

I always look forward to Beth’s classes. They are an excellent complement to the hours I spend cycling and walking.  My core stability and arm strength have definitely improved!

Beth’s classes have been truly life-changing! I adore her super-zen yet fun presence and she makes every class feel individually tailored to you. Beth’s lessons have not only made me stronger and healthier, but equipped me with a sensory awareness of my body and how to make the most out of any workout.

Need to knows…

  • Yogalates classes are well-paced with an alignment focus. Rest assured, you are in good hands!

  • Beginners are welcome, with modifications and alternatives offered where appropriate. If you suffer from pain or restrictions with your mobility please reach out to check if this class is suitable for you here, before signing up.

  • Wednesdays @ Alcheme - what you need: Most equipment will be provided for you for these classes, except a resistance band (e.g. Theraband) which you will need to bring along with you. Once registered I will send you some suggestions of bands to purchase, if you don’t already have one.

  • Saturdays @ St Mary’s - what you need: Students will need to provide their own yoga mat, block and resistance band, however I can provide a block and a band for your first class.

  • If you cannot attend a session but have paid, you’re welcome to send another person in your place, but the class cannot be transferred.
